Sentence ending particles are communicative particles. They add particular meaning or nuance to the speaker's utterance, where grammatical ones function more as glue between words in a sentence. Since sentence ending particles \"yo\", \"ne\", \"na\" and \"ka\" are communicative particles rather than grammatical ones, they are normally used in dialogue. However, I draw conclusions that some of the sentences appearing in dialogue seem to have a feature of a monologue rather than dialogue, even when spoken in front of the person to whom one is talking.
