 note = {These days, the argument about measurement and evaluation of Japanese language ability for daily life is popular. The acquisition of Japanese language skills useful in daily life is essential for people who come to Japan for work or for marriage. And the test for measuring Japanese language ability for daily life would function as a reference for studying Japanese language according to the learner’s stage within their lifetime study. Certain measurements and evaluations of Japanese language ability for daily life are required. However, there is no consensus on their appropriate role and characteristics. It is clear that the test for sorting out people shoud be avoided. This paper discussed the possibilities and problems of the test for immigrants in Japan.},
