First, based on trends in undergraduate education, an overview of the changes made to it was provided, along with a description of the related issues. Next, the syllabi of compulsory the First Year Experience belonging to “Study Skills” category, a perspective unique to the university, were analyzed. From the results, the diversity of the Specific Learning Objectives was suggested. Additionally, structural issues within the syllabi were extracted, which suggest a need for improvement not only among those carrying out classes, but also from a university-wide perspective.
