In a semester-long class, the students were exposed to basic discourse structures often found in authentic texts, through the use of graphic organizers. As homework, extensive reading and vocabulary e-learning assignments were given in order to promote automaticity in the processing of words and sentence structures, as well as to expand their vocabulary.
