There are two parts in this paper. First part is the short survey about the　methods to measure the economical aspects of the townscape, such as Travel Cost Method, Contingent Valuation Method. Second part is to apply the economical measurement in the Tsumago, Kiso, Japan. With Tsumago, I show the long term analysis for 40 years, against the earlier studies of short term analysis.
