 note = {This study investigates the relationship between social capital and regional activity at intermediate and mountainous rural region. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) , the causal structure model of social capital and the regional activity is shown. In a case study of Ojiya City, regional activity structure is necessary to consider the model separately in urban area and intermediate and mountainous rural region. As a result, citizen's groups have a significant influence in urban area, and a leader in intermediate and mountainous rural region. Finally, It proposes a necessity of qualitative research that reinforces the result of SEM based on triangulation approach.},
