Bottom of L.Mitarasegata was composed of very rich organic materials ranging from 27.4% to 51.9% with a mean of 37.5% (±5.11, n=14). Significant relationship with the ignition loss and the water content [figure] (mean; 90.8%, range; 82.2~94.6%) was admitted (Fig.4A). High concentration of nitrate was detected in the west area of the lake (Fig.7B), where seemed to be the site of spring area. Nitrate decreased toward the outlet of lake, whereas the concentrations of chlorophyll-a, up to about 100 (μg/L), increased toward the east side of the lake. Concentrations of Cl^-, Na^+ and K^+ also increased toward the east side, and Cl^- concentrations are equivalent to Na^+ in lake water (Fig.8), suggesting the addition of NaCl from the out side of the lake. Again, a conservation plan of this sand dune lake is discussed from the point of reduction of eutrophication.}, pages = {13--22}, title = {新潟県湖沼の陸水生態学的研究XII.砂丘湖・御手洗潟(新潟市赤塚)の陸水生態学的研究 : 特に水質・底質の水平分布について}, volume = {9}, year = {2006} }
