 note = {In this study, a role of mechanical engineering in machining learning was described. Without understanding mechanical engineering, machining learning tends to fall into merely working. Technical education has a strong influence on science education. The decrease in school hours of technology education was one of the reasons for science phobia. The content of mechanical engineering which was concerned with machining learning was demonstrated. We introduced the mechanical engineering practice for the technology teacher education. In addition, the practice was examined from a viewpoint of active learning.},
