 note = {In these days, various types of hard resin teeth have been produced, in order to improve the acrylic denture teeth. Some studies reported that, considering coloration resistance, hard resin teeth are inferior to non-filler resin teeth. It is said that the cause of coloration would be the high filler content. The purpose of this study was to compare the physical properties of hard resin teeth, EXCERA(R), with the other ones, already existing on the market, in order to enable the right choice in clinical practice. Regarding hardness, water sorption, and abrasion, EXCERA(R) was similar to other hard resin teeth, but concerning coloration resistance and filler content, EXCERA(R) showed higher features. The results of this study indicated that EXCERA(R) showed proper coloration resistance, superior to other hard resin teeth., 硬質レジン人工歯EXCERA(R)(山八歯材工業社製)の諸物性を知るため､硬質レジン人工歯EXCERA(R)および試験片､ならびに市販されている他2社製硬質レジン人工歯を用い､比較検討を行った｡本研究では硬さ､吸水性､耐摩耗性､着色性､曲げ強さ､圧縮強さ､フィラー含有量について調べた｡EXCERA(R)は硬さ試験､吸水量試験､ブラシ摩耗試験において他社製品とほぼ同等の値を示したが､フィラー含有量は他社製品より高い値を示し､また着色試験では良好な傾向を示した｡一般的にはフィラーを含有することにより硬度は上昇するが､表面性状は粗になり着色性が高まるといわれている｡しかし､本研究においては､異なった結果が得られたことからモノマーの性状､種類､配分比など製造法の工夫により十分に硬く､そして耐着色性の高い硬質レジン人工歯が得られたものと推察できる｡以上のことよりEXCERA(R)の基本的物性は､他2社の硬質レジン人工歯がそれぞれ優劣混交していることに比較して､すべてに平均以上の値を示し､バランスのとれたものであることが示唆された｡},
