The results were as follows: 1. New outpatients in this 14 year period totaled 15,415, 6,509 males and 8,690 females. Patients in their 20's were the most frequent and accounted for 21.3% of all patients. 2. The proportion of patients from other prefectures increased from 2.6% to 4.0%. 3. The proportion of patients referred to us by another medical or dental institution, including medical hospitals affiliated with our university, showed gradual increase over the 14 year period, accounting for 50% each year. 4. The average number of patients with temporomandibular disease (from 42 to121） and jaw deformity (from 6 to 38) showed marked increases. The average number of tumor cases for year increased from 24 to 34. The number of patients with cleft lip and/or palate did not increase. The ratio of primary cases, however, incresad from 37% to 65%. The data indicate the number of outpatients with oral and maxillofacial diseases increased. Thus, our clinic appears to function as a very important institution for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Niigata district.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"1983年12月から1997年11月までの14年間に、新潟大学歯学部第2口腔外科を受診した新来患者についての臨床統計的観察を行い、本学会誌14巻2号に報告した開設以来10年間の結果と比較し、以下の結果を得た｡1.対象期間中における新来患者総数は、15,415名で、性別は、男性6,509名(42.2%)、女性8,906名(57.8%)、年齢構成では、20歳代が、21.3%と最も多く、開設後10年に比べ大きな変化は認められなかった。2.居住地別患者数をみると県外からの患者の割合が4.0% (開設後10年:2.6%)と増加していた｡3.紹介機関別頻度では,医学部附属病院を含む他の医療機関からの紹介患者の割合が前回調査を上回る40%台を維持し、最近では50%を超える年も認められ増加傾向を示した｡4.疾患別年平均患者数では顎関節疾患が121例(開設後10年:42例)、顎変形症が38例(同:6例)と著明に増加しており,腫癌も34例(同:24例)と増加を認めた。裂奇形は、49例と患者数に大きな変化はないものの、このうちで一次症例の占める割合は65%(同:37%)と高くなっていた｡以上、口腔外科的疾患の占める割合が、増加しており、本院が新潟地区における口腔外科の基幹病院として重要な役割を果たしていることが示唆された｡今後更に臨床研究を発展させ、口腔外科医療の向上に努める所存である｡","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_7_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"152524","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"Abe,
