The withdrawal-reinjection procedure of the arterial blood, sectioning of the baroreceptor nerves and the temporal cessation of the repetitive stimulation of the depressor nerve, resulted in the increase in the blood glucose level. These procedures also caused the increase in discharge rate in the adrenal nerve, hepatic branch and pancreatic branch of the splanchnic nerve.
