Maximum phonation time, mean air flow rate, voice intensity and pitch were measured by phonation function analyzer (SH-01 Rion Co.) in 80 hearing impaired and 240 normal students aged from 12 to 19 years old. Phonation quotient was calculated from maximum phonation time and vital capacity. Although the physique such as body height and vital capacity was similar in both groups, some hearing impaired students exceeded the normal range in every phonetic functions except voice intensity. Graph shapes displayed in the analyzer did not hold constantly. These results suggested that respiratory and laryngeal control in phonation of hearing impaired would be immature and that, in occasion of teaching speech to them, we should lay stress on the efficient use of respiratory air for phonation and the elaborate control of larynx in phonation. In the training of those aspects, the analyzer seemed to be a useful equipment, because of its possibility to display three basic phonetic functions in real-time.}, pages = {577--593}, title = {聴覚障害児の発声機能に関する研究}, volume = {101}, year = {1987} }
