 note = {Cases of variable medical disorders during pregnancy were reviewed. The results as follows: 1. Cardiovascular diseases were most frequently observed (82 pregnancies). Congenital heart diseases have been increasing (54.9%) recently. Symptomatic deterioration during pregnancy was highly observed (23.2%) in aquired heart diseases. Vacuum extraction and forceps delivery were frequently performed to shorten second labor period, There were no maternal death nor neonatal death. 2. Renal diseases were observed in 29 pregnancies (Chronic glomerular nephritis 20, Chronic renal failure 4, Nephrotic syndrome 3, Gold nephropathy 1, Reno-vascular hypertension 1), Therapeutic abortion was performed in 6 pregnancies because of presence of hypertension or low creatinine clearance. Preeclampsia occured in 5 cases (21.7%). 3. Thyroid diseases were observed in 27 pregnancies for 9 years, Most of those were hyperthyroidism. Propylthiouracil was administered in 11 cases. Symptomatic deterioration during pregnancy was noted in only one case. Preeclampsia occured in 11 of 21 cases. No thyroid storm was observed. 4. Diabetes mellitus was observed in 17 pregnancies, Heavy for date babies were born only in class A (White' s classification) cases. Light for date babies were born in class C and class R. Neonatal asphyxia was observed in class A and class D cases. There was 1 perinatal death. 5. Hematological disorders were observed in 14 cases for 13 years (Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpula 6, Aplastic anemia 5, Acute myeloblastic leukemia 3). In ITP cases, prednisolone was administered before labor in 4 cases. Blood loss during labor was less than 1,000ml in all cases and no blood transfusion was performed. No neonatal intracranial hemorrhage was observed. In aplastic anemia cases, prednisolone was administered in 3 cases and blood transfusion was performed in all cases, Blood loss during labor was less than 1,000ml in all cases, Chemotherapy performed during pregnancy in 1 case and post partum in 2 cases. There were no maternal death.},
