 note = {We investigated in the steroid therapy of the patients of severe asthmatic attacks who admitted in our hospital in these ten years. Between steroid-dependent patients and independent patients, there was no significant differences in PaO_2 and dosage of steroidhormones administrated intravenously in initial 24 hours. But periods of intravenous administration of steroidhormones were longer in steroid-dependent patients than in independent patients and total dosage of steroidhormones intravenously administrated was larger in steroid-dependent patients than in independent patients. These results suggest that in severe asthmatic attacks both steroid-dependent patients and steroid-independent patients should be administrated large and sufficient enough dosages of steroidhormones in early stage. But intravenous administration of steroidhormones should be longer in steroid-dependent patients than independent patients.},
