The rate of measles vaccination in Niigata prefecture was 76.5 percents from 1979 to 1986, which was higher than the average rate in Japan. Measles was prevalent all over the country in 1984, but it was not prevalent in Niigata prefecture probably because of sufficient immunization. The average rate of measles vaccination among prefectures in Japan was 62.7 percents from 1979 to 1984. Generally, this rate was higher in eastern prefectures and lower in western prefectures in Japan. Measles was prevalent all over the country in 1984, and according to the report of the surveying system of infectious diseases, we recognized the tendency that the number of measles patients per clinical institution was large in western prefectures and small in eastern prefectures. We also recognized a significant negative correlation between the rate of measles vaccination from 1979 to 1984 (α) and the number of measles patients per clinical institutions in 1984 (β) according to prefectures in Japan (β=-0.7739 α+111.2, r=-0.3197, n=47, p<0.05). The present rate of measles vaccination is not enough to prevent the prevalence of measles perfectly both in Niigata prefecture and in Japan. And, we have to raise the rate of measles vaccination still higher.}, pages = {43--49}, title = {麻疹ワクチンの接種率と感染症サーベイランスにおける麻しん様疾患の患者発生状況の関係について : 新潟県および全国における比較検討}, volume = {103}, year = {1989} }
