The following results were obtained in 1986 and 1987. 1) The total number of patients was 345; 299 with epithelial malignant tumor and 46 with non-epithelial malignant tumor. The incidence per 100,000 inhabitants were 6.96. 2) In the epithelial malignant tumor cases, the mean age was 62.0 years. The male to female ratio was 2.8:1. 3) The larynx was the most frequent site, and the tongue, hypopharynx, maxillary sinus, oral floor except tongue occurred in that order. These five sites accounted for about 70% of the epithelial tumors. 4) Cases in early stages predominated in the larynx and tongue tumors. Those in advanced stages were predominant in the other sites. 5) There were 34 cases of malignant lymphoma in 46 cases of non-epithelial malignant tumor, and its incidence was high in the lymphatic ring of Waldeyer.}, pages = {290--296}, title = {新潟県における頭頸部悪性腫瘍の実態}, volume = {103}, year = {1989} }
