 note = {Problems of the emergency medical practices in Niigata University Hospital (NUH) including Department of Emergency (DE) are discussed based on the results of questionnaire delivered to the doctors in Kaetsu and Sado Areas of Niigata Prefecture. Results obtained indicate that in order to simplify the patient transport system to the NUH and to improve the complicated communicating system between emergency patients or ambulance personnel and NUH, construction of Outpatient Department of Emergency in the near future is indispensable and essential. It is also indicated that Department of Emergency has to be adequately staffed and improved in order to particularly accomplish sufficient Graduate Emergency Medical Education.},
