It is associated with a high mortality of pregnant women, therefore particular attension has been given to its management. DIC associated with obstetrical disease reveals some different features from that in other disease such as leukemia or sepsis. First, DIC in obstetrics progresses most rapidly. Second, primary diseases are often curable with surgical treatment. For those reasons, prompt start of the therapy in early stage of DIC is most essential factor for maternal outcome. Recently scoring system for DIC in obstetrics was proposed, and it has been demonstrated to be beneficial for clinical management of DIC in obstetrics. We also have been employing this scoring system. And our clinical data shown in this symposium reveal that it is beneficial for prompt and correct diagnosis of DIC in obstetrics.}, pages = {100--103}, title = {4) 産科領域におけるDIC(シンポジウム DIC-診断・治療の最近の動向, 第457回新潟医学会)}, volume = {105}, year = {1991} }
