 note = {Introduction of hospital-computer systems started from the beginning of the 1970s in Japan. These systems have been used mainly for a management of account in the medical insurance system. It is doutful whether a hospital computer system has ever improved medical care that is the right aim of hospital. Our medical information systems with small business computers using a local area network (LAN) are demonstrated. And some problems about approarch to a more avairable computer information system towards the better patient care as well as a more efficient hospital management are discussed.},
