For instance, when reviewing mergers and acquisitions between multinational corporations, there is information exchange and cooperation among competition authorities in various countries. Therefore, companies involved in such mergers and acquisitions need to prepare for merger review processes, and competition authorities in each country should not only understand their own but also other countries' merger review systems to facilitate smooth cooperation. This article, based on this awareness, compares and analyzes South Korea's merger review system with that of Japan.
