The unit of \"Electric Current and Voltage\" was implemented though a context-based approach in a class of a middle school (context class, N=40). The other class was taught through the traditional teaching approach (control class, N=40). The unit was developed using \"Active Physics\" textbook in the US as a guide. The results indicate that the context class showed a significant increase in students' social relevance views.
