Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), abscisic acid (ABA), trans-zeatin (tZ), isopentenyladenine (iP), jasmonic acid (JA), methyl jasmonic acid (MeJA), gibberellin1 (GA1), and gibberellin4 (GA4) in AP solution, SY solution, and pericarp tissue were simultaneously quantified by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). IAA concentrations were 4.0 times higher in AP solution than in SY solution in the placenta and 6.5 times higher in AP solution than in SY solution in the flesh. tZ concentrations were 2 times higher in AP solution than in SY solution in the placenta and 5.5 times higher in AP solution than in SY solution in the flesh. iP concentrations were 2 times higher in AP solution than in SY solution in the placenta and 5.5 times higher in AP solution than in SY solution in the flesh. The concentration of GA1 was 8 times higher than that of SY solution in the placenta and 3.5 times higher than that of SY solution in the flesh. The concentration of ABA in the placenta was 1.5 times higher than that in SY solution, and that in the flesh was 2 times higher than that in SY solution.
