 note = {Abdominal wall-lift method was successfuly applied in our recent 52 cases of our laparoscopic surgery (43 of cholecystectomy, 4 of bandolysis, 2 of retrieval of common bile duct stones, 1 of colectomy, 1 of appendectomy, 1 of uterine myomectomy, and 1 of oophrectomy). In this technique, operative field is created by lifting up abdominal wall with two straight wires pierced subcutaneously. Absence of gas leakage in this technique allows easy ligation, dissection and tiing under laparoscopic vision. Operative field in this technique may be smaller than in insufflation method, but is large enough to perform most of the procedures. Our experience showed great advantage of this novel technique in laparoscopic surgery over conventional insufflation method.},
