@article{oai:niigata-u.repo.nii.ac.jp:00018569, author = {長谷川, 剛}, issue = {6}, journal = {新潟医学会雑誌, 新潟医学会雑誌}, month = {Jun}, note = {We have examined 55 autopsy cases of sudden death or clinically unexpected death (SD) which occupied about ten percent of 561 autopsy cases registered in our department of pathology during these three years from 1990 to 1992. The most common causes of SD were cardiovascular diseases (32 cases, 58 %), including acute myocardial infarction (19 cases, 35 %), cardiomyopathy or myocarditis (8 cases, 15 %), and rupture of aortic aneurysm (5 cases, 9 %). The clinical diagnoses were confirmed to be correct by pathological examinations in less than thirty percent of SD cases. The existence of 24 SD cases which were dead on arrival suggests the difficulty of making correct clinical diagnoses of such cases. In other SD cases due to diseases of alimentary tract, respiratory tract and so on, clinical symptoms or data were not enough to make exact clinical diagnoses. Based on these results, autopsy is absolutely necessary for clarifying the cause of sudden death, though a few cases of SD may not be given any definite pathological findings directly connected to the cause of death.}, pages = {259--262}, title = {1)病理からみた突然死(シンポジウム 突然死をめぐる諸問題, 第504回新潟医学会)}, volume = {109}, year = {1995} }
