 note = {In sanshinakakan area, school nurses picked obese children to receive the health check-up in order to prevent cardio and cerebrovascular diseases in their adulthood. In 1994, 211 obese children, 143 boys and 68 girls, received the health check-up. The average relative weight（a percentage of the ideal weight for age, height, and sex）of the children was 151.9%. Of the children, 5.7% had higher blood pressure for their age and sex, and 31.4% had hypercholesteremia（over 200mg/dl）. Abdominal echography revealed that 21.3% of the children have fatty infiltration in their liver. It is important to find out obese children and check the complications related to obesity.},
