We demonstrated the characteristics of peroxidase activity induced in the immature basophil cell line, KU812-F. Their granules could be stained by anti-eosinophil peroxidase antibodies, and eosinophil peroxidase mRNA, not myeloperoxidase, was detected in the cells using Northern hybridization and RT-PCR. The biological function of eosinophil peroxidase detected in basophils remains uncertain, but eosinophils and basophils have similar cytoplasmic proteins and must play a role in allergic immune reactions. Then eosinophil peroxidase can be one of the molecules involved in the allergic reaction.}, pages = {270--276}, title = {好塩基球におけるeosinophil peroxidaseの発現 : 幼若好塩基球細胞株KU812-Fを用いて}, volume = {112}, year = {1998} }
