ICSI has been condudted in the treatment of severe male infertility, with a pregnancy rate similar to C-IVF achived in recent years. Microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA)-ICSI and Testicular sperm extraction (TESE)-ICSI have been conducted against azoospermia, with such a high pregnan syrate as 100 % achieved by MESA-ICSI, and 66 % by TESE-ICSI. Frozen embryo implantation of surplus fertilized ova has been performed, with a pregnancy rate of 34.2 %.
