| 内容記述 | The early detection-early treatment/education system for the mentally and physically handicapped children at the prefectural level is kept in order and is functioning relatively well. We introduce the current of the treatment/education by mentioning Down's syndrome as an example of the disturbance of intelligence and cerebral palsy as an example of the disturbance of movement. While it was difficult to improve the disability by an early treatment/education, it was possible to expand the scope of social rehabilitation by obtaining understanding. Cooperation of health, medical treatment, welfare and education is needed in the treatment/education of mentally and physically handicapped children. Although some progress is seen, supporting severely and doubly handicapped children from the aspect of health care is urgent in the school. So it is hoped that the treatment/education by region will be promoted. | |||||
