Biofeedback is initiated in the study of voluntary control by operant conditioning of autonomic nervous system in later '50. Operant therapy is that an action is reinforced by giving reward and diminished by giving punishment. Biofeedback is procedure of transforming bioreaction into signals. In psychosomatic medicine, biofeedback therapy is using for muscle tension headache, migraine, spasmodic torticollis, writer's crump, hypertension, bronchial asthma, irritable bowel syndrome and so on. We use asthography for biofeedback therapy on respiratory resistance.
