The atypical mycobacteria are casually found in environment such as in soil, water, fishes and hot tub water. The most common disease is the infection of Mycobaeterium (M. )marinum. The next common types are caused by M. chelonae and M. fortuitum. However, the cutaneous infection of M. avium is noted recently. We found that the infection of M, avium is associated with so-called 24 hour hot tub in many cases. Cutaneous infection of atypical mycobacteria should be paid attention especially among the patients with immunodeficiency or among those who receive immunosuppressive medications.}, pages = {1--3}, title = {皮膚非定型抗酸菌症における最近の話題}, volume = {114}, year = {2000} }
