Family stress and parental, especially maternal, psychological problems are thought to be related to this tendency. Families who take care of children tend to be poorly supported socially and mothers tend to have many kinds of stresses on parenting. It is not easy for such families and mothers to seek help by themselves. Pediatricians are daily in contact with them. Therefore it is needed for pediatricians to develop new strategies for parenting support. We have tried two kinds of interventions, a mental health care service for children and mothers at the health screening for infant after the Mid-Niigata Earthquake, and a self-help group meeting for mothers who have tendencies to maltreat their children.}, pages = {365--368}, title = {小児科診療における子育て支援の試み : 乳幼児健診とセルフヘルプグループの活用}, volume = {121}, year = {2007} }
