 note = {Interprofessional work (IPW) is important in the field of rehabilitation. Various professionals can collaborate to make good QOL of clients. Medical, nursing and other co-medical students must collaborate in future. Importance of interprofessional education (IPE) is now recognized worldwide. To build IPE system, we are learning from the Centre for the Advancement of IPE (CAIPE) in the UK, etc. In the UK, IPE is duty for therapists' education. Our university has eight departments for health and welfare. Before graduation the students must practice the integrated general seminar. There, 7-8 students from different field make a team. This year one group tried to practice with a virtual case in a database which we are developing. Students discussed, from view of each specialty, about the strategy for the virtual client to come back home from hospital. And they made presentation of a strategic plan. We used internet to discuss with the president of Onomichi medical association of Hiroshima. The Leicester model in the UK is very nice; students from different universities work about real clients. But our university has 650 students in each grade. So it's difficult to practice IPE for every student, many teachers and huge space are necessary. So we are developing new method, making virtual case database and using TV meeting system to do IPE. In Japan faculty of schools and hospitals are now developing IPE method mutually. And Japan Association of Interprofessional Education (JAIPE) was established. The academy secretariat is placed in our University.},
