Recently, many companies are interested in logistics which implements and controls the effective flow of goods and services with relating to information form the point of origin to the point of consumption in order to meet customers’ requirements. The origin of logistics is “Physical Distribution” as auxiliary functions in marketing. The ways of management have been always changed by various matters of surrounding companies. Therefore, the implementing and controlling the effective flow of goods and services have also altered physical distribution into logistics which includes strategic element. The purpose of this paper is to consider the relation between logistics and marketing, and to clarify the characterizations of recent logistics.
